As a special transportation method,freight cableway is widely used in power transmission and transformation projects,mostly in high altitude areas of remote mountains and forests.The suspension cable system of simple freight cableway is one of the most complex systems of cableway,which is facing the challenges of changeable climate and complex geological conditions.Vibration analysis of suspension cable is a basic problem in simple freight cableway dynamics.Vibration of suspension cable not only restricts the transportation efficiency of freight cableway,but also is an important factor causing security incidents.In order to ensure the safe operation of the cableway,it is necessary to monitor its operation in real time.In this paper,based on the discrete system model,the free vibration model of suspension cable is simplified,and the vibration equation of suspension cable is established and solved.On this basis,a new device which integrates vibration suppression and energy harvesting is designed.The major work in this paper is as follows.1.A large number of domestic and foreign literatures in the fields of suspension cable dynamics,vibration suppression dampers and energy harvesting were reviewed,and the research status was summarized.2.According to the vibration characteristics of the suspension cable,the characteristics of piezoelectric,electrostatic and electromagnetic induction energy harvesting methods are compared and analyzed.In this paper,the electromagnetic induction is utilized to convert the vibration energy of the suspension cable into electrical energy,and a circuit of rectification,filtering and voltage stabilizing based on LM317 is designed.3.A novel spring damper is designed to suppress the vibration of suspension cable of freight cableway.Its dynamic analysis is carried out,and a simplified dynamic model of the device is established.The electromagnetic damping is used to replace the hydraulic damping of the traditional spring damper,and the vibration energy can be converted into electrical energy.The advantages and disadvantages of using DC motor as DC generator are analyzed by modeling.Finally,MATLAB simulation software is used to work out the curves damping force,suspension of vibration and electric energy harvesting of vibration energy.4.Considering the influence of suspension cable vibration on the cableway gantry and the problem of power supply for the remote gantry monitoring equipment of the cableway,a set of gantry vibration energy harvester integrating vibration suppression and energy harvesting is designed and manufactured.The device uses ball screw mechanism as the input device of vibration energy,which can effectively convert the reciprocating linear vibration into rotation.At the same time,the device adopts the one-way gear unit,which realizes the conversion of the reciprocating vibration into the one-way rotation of the generator input shaft,and improves the energy harvesting efficiency.Finally,an experimental device is designed to test the performance of the vibration energy harvester.The curves of the damping force,output voltage-time of the vibration energy harvester are obtained through the test,and the conversion rate of the device is calculated.
