With the yearly increase of domestic car ownership,the parking problem has become increasingly prominent.Compared with car ownership,the number of parking spaces in China is extremely small.Building intelligent stereoscopic garages is an effective strategy to solve the parking problem.Currently,the intelligent stereoscopic garage is fully developed under the dual drive of market and policy in China and being built positively in major cities.As the core of the intelligent stereoscopic garage,automobile carriers have also developed rapidly.The performance parameter of the carrier directly determines the types of cars parking in the stereoscopic garage.The operation speed of the carrier also largely limits the access efficiency of the stereoscopic garage.On basis of summarizing the pros and cons of domestic and foreign automobile carriers,the design and simulation research on the clamped omni-directional automobile carrier for stereoscopic garages is conducted in this paper.The main contents of this paper are as follows:This paper summarizes the domestic and foreign research development situation of stereoscopic garages and automobile carriers,analyses the varieties,advantages and disadvantages of automobile carriers,and points out the development prospect of clamped automobile carriers.This paper proposes a design scheme of clamped automobile carrier mechanism which can realize omni-directional steering and deployable motion.An omni-directional steering mechanism is designed to realize zero radius turning,lateral and longitudinal motion using SolidWorks.A deployable mechanism based on scissor-fork linkage mechanism is designed to adapt to distance between wheels and distance between shafts of automobile.And a clamping mechanism is designed.The theoretical analysis and modeling of the clamped automobile carrier mechanism are carried out.The target automobile parameter is set.The performance parameter of the automobile carrier mechanism is defined.The type and power of the motor are determined.The statics and dynamics simulation analysis of the clamped automobile carrier mechanism is carried out.The statics analysis of the clamping mechanism and the whole frame of the carrier mechanism is carried out using ANSYS.Their strength and stiffness are checked.And the optimization method is put forward.The dynamics simulation analysis of the automobile carrier mechanism is carried out using Adams,including the kinematics analysis of the clamping tire process,the kinematics analysis of zero radius turning and straight movement of the automobile carrier mechanism,and dynamics analysis of the gear teeth of steering gear train.This paper summarizes the contents of the full paper,explains the inadequacies of the subject research,and looks forward to the future research.
