As a newly launched product,Guangzhou Mitsubishi Motors Corporation(GMMC)SUV Model R is essential to GMMC for its further development.Researching on the market strategies of GMMC Model R can help to formulate and implement the strategies more scientifically,to maximize profits in the strategic life-cycle of Model R,and to provide theories to innovate the marketing models not only for GMMC but also the Automobile industry.This paper aims to research the marketing strategy of Guangzhou Automobile Mitsubishi Model R.it makes a comprehensive study with the help of PEST analysis,Michael Porter's Five Forces Model,SWOT analysis,STP analysis and 4P Marketing Portfolio Strategy.At first it analyses the marketing status of Guangzhou Automobile Mitsubishi Model R from external environment to internal environment,and considered a relatively positive macro and industry environment of Guangzhou Automobile Mitsubishi Model R.However,in the internal environment,a series of problems exist.For example,the marketing philosophy needs to be implemented,the marketing specialization is insufficient,the sales resources are lack,and the brand competitiveness is uncertain.Secondly,based on market segmentation and market positioning of Guangzhou Automobile Mitsubishi Model R,this paper summarizes and improves the marketing strategy by discussing how to implement and guarantee it.On this basis,this paper proposes that the improvement of Model R marketing strategy should follow the three directions of emphasizing experience,brand building and combining with the Internet,including highlighting technological advantages,increasing product added value,building brand effect,improving sales channels.By researching Model R marketing strategy,this paper provides a more customized marketing plan for GMMC.Besides,through the implementation of the marketing strategy formulated in this paper,the marketing approaches will be increased and marketing flexibility will be improved.,the brand effect of GMMC is ought to be further developed.What's more,this research will be helpful case study to other Brands,other Models for their marketing strategy.
