With the advent of the information age,digital media has become a reality that cannot be ignored in the modern era.Old art design methods and forms of communication are increasingly being replaced by digital technology and digital communication.Digital virtual “product” refers to the product that the design process and means are “digitalized”.The content,form,existence mode,mode of transmission and finished product form are no longer limited to the form of physical objects.The types include online advertising and online games,human-machine interfaces such as applications,multimedia art design,virtual reality technology,digital video works,installations,and digital parts in display design.Digital virtual design is an inevitable trend of design development,and it is also the key analysis object of this research.It is of great significance to study the aesthetic essence of design aesthetics through the new design development phenomenon.The change of digital virtual product design has attracted a lot of attention,but the existing digital virtual product design research is more than the influence of digital technology,the design content,design form,and design method change,for the continuity of design aesthetic research.On the one hand,the reason is that the relationship between aesthetics,aesthetics and aesthetics in aesthetic research reveals the complexity and contradiction of its concept.On the other hand,aesthetics presents different connotations and application meanings due to different research objectives and social and historical backgrounds.In addition,digital virtual products have penetrated into every aspect of our lives.In the era of mass discourse power that lacks centrality and order,the aesthetic design of virtual products has become generalized.This not only challenges the traditional authority of aesthetics,but also narrows the depth and breadth of aesthetics,and degenerates the original ideology-led appreciation and criticism into entertainment-led enjoyment and recognition.This thesis mainly studies the following parts: First,the design form,design carrier and design features of virtual product design driven by digital media.Secondly,it is the aesthetic study of the design of virtual products,analyzing the characteristics of aesthetic subject and object,the evolution of aesthetic methods and the aesthetic experience.The third is to study the new development of the aesthetic relationship of virtual product design,including the conversion of audience to participants,the symbiotic relationship between people and technology,and the integration of aesthetic subject and object.Finally,the aesthetic criticism and aesthetic value research of virtual product design,the generalized aesthetic and the interfaceized lifestyle bring about the negative problems of aesthetics.Based on the above research,this paper believes that the aesthetics of virtual product design under digital media has undergone a new transformation.The integration of aesthetic subject and object is deeper,the aesthetic approach is more diverse,and the aesthetic experience is more novel.However,from the dialectical point of view of history and society,the transformation of aesthetics has impacted the traditional aesthetic structure,bringing about the aesthetic value and the worry of the development of aesthetics.In this paper,the in-depth study of virtual product design itself and its aesthetic issues is aimed at helping the research of design aesthetics to continue to develop,helping people to face the aesthetic problems of digital virtual products,guiding people to reflect and criticize themselves,and enhance their individual aesthetic ability.Finally,the expectation of theoretical research can be a small force to guide digital virtual design practices.
