With the development of economy and the advancement of science and technology,the safety performance of automobiles has been paid more and more attention.Especially the continuous optimization and improvement of C-NCAP and C-IASI,how to improve the safety performance of vehicle crash has become the subject of the OEM needs to face.In this paper,the computer simulation optimization method is used to deeply study the frontal offset collision restraint system of a China’s brand.The main work includes the following two aspects:(1)Airbag modeling and calibration,including the airbag static deployment test simulation model.And dynamic impact test simulation model establishment and calibration;constraint system simulation model establishment and calibration,model establishment including steering system model simplification,seat cushion preload,dummy static position adjustment,seat belt fitting,boundary loading,etc.The calibration of dummy dynamic response curve and the dummy motion posture;(2)Determine the design variables according to the research object,use the orthogonal experimental design method and the range analysis method to optimize the constraint system design variables,and obtain the optimal constraint system parameter matching results.The optimization result is carried out in the actual vehicle crash test,which verifies the effectiveness of the optimization result and provides a reference for the performance optimization of restraint system in domestic vehicle enterprise.The results show that:the method of zooming and folding the airbag does not consider the airbag folding method and the deployment process.It is suitable for the frontal impact occupant and the control volume method to simulate the airbag deployment.The validity of the zoom folding method is verified by the airbag dynamic impact test.The folding method is simple and the model is stable;for the problem that the head penetrates the airbag in the frontal collision test,the size of the airbag vent hole can be significantly improved,but reducing the size of the vent hole may cause the chest compression displacement to rise,The usage of simulation methods can improve the performance of the constrained system.
