Circuit breaker is a switching device that can close,carry and break the current in normal circuit conditions,and can close,carry and break the current in abnormal circuit conditions within a specified time.The reliability of its operation is very important.When the signal is received,it does not move,and when the signal is not received,it acts,which will cause line accidents and bring huge losses to the power system.In order to obtain a high voltage vacuum circuit breaker which is reliable in the whole life cycle,the key springs and cams which affect the reliability of the circuit breaker are simulated and optimized,and verified by life test,so as to provide theoretical data and practical test basis for the design of the circuit breaker.This paper is based on ZN(VEM03)-40.5 indoor high voltage vacuum circuit breaker(hereinafter referred to as “circuit breaker”),which is developed by the project,from project establishment,3D modeling,simulation,prototype manufacturing,life verification,parameter debugging,etc.In terms of verifying the opening process,energy storage process and closing process of the circuit breaker.Through the parameters of the arc extinguishing chamber,the effective parameters of the spring and the contour curve of the cam are calculated.The SolidWorks Motion simulation is used to analyze the rationality and reliability,and the parameters optimization and design of the key parts of the circuit breaker are completed,and the prototype is produced.Manufacturing.Finally,the mechanical life testing platform of the circuit breaker is built,and the life monitoring of the circuit breaker is carried out by the PLC automatic control system.The test results verify the correctness of the simulation data,and at the same time test the mechanical performance parameters of each stage of the life testing,and the parameters and the requirements of the arc extinguishing chamber.A comparison was made to verify the reliability of the overall design.The mechanical life and mechanical performance parameters of the circuit breaker designed in this paper have been improved and guaranteed.
