Mongolian yurt is a kind of traditional building with Mongolian characteristics,which is a symbol of Mongolian culture,with the improvement of the requirements on space,environment protection and convenience in grassland area,our country emphasis on ecological civilization,the traditional wooden yurts and the brick and concrete yurts can no longer meet the requirement of the safety of house and environmental protection for the people living in grassland.Considering the policy orientation of construction industrialization and the advantages of cold-formed thin-walled steel for low-rise housing construction,on the basis of not changing the Mongolian characteristic shape and the function of house,a new type of prefabricated cold-formed thin-wall steel house is created by the cold-formed thin-wall C shaped steel in grassland area in this paper.The characteristics of light weight and flexibility of cold-formed thin-wall steel house determine that its controlled load is wind and snow load.In this paper,cold-formed thin-wall steel house with enclosure structure is established,the house is numerically simulated based on the finite element simulation platform ANSYS Workbench and the fluid dynamics software FLUENT through CFD,the Shape coefficients of wind loads of cold-formed thin-wall steel house are obtained.The relationship between uneven snow load distribution and span and roof slope is concluded through wind-induced snow simulation,then the distribution coefficients of uneven snow cover on the roof of cold-formed thin-wall steel house are obtained.Snow and wind loads are applied to cold-formed thin-wall steel house,the stress distribution and mechanical properties of the house under wind and snow loads are obtained,the theoretical support of the reliability of the structure under characteristic loading in grassland area is provided.It is found that the simulation of wind field and wind-induced snow cover is reliable,the Shape coefficient of wind load is obviously affected by the shape of house,the distribution of snow load on the roof is consistent with the distribution of wind pressure on the roof;comparing with the rigid frame with main plane,the rigid frame without main plane is more likely to yield under wind loads,the presence of uneven snow load on the roof makes the structure more likely to yield;both of thehexagonal and octagonal rigid frames are not yield under wind and snow loads,and the maximum displacement at the top of the column is less than the limit displacement at the top of the column,which verified the reliability of the structure under the characteristic loads in grassland area;the bearing capacity of the octagonal rigid frames are 24.1% higher than that of the hexagonal rigid frames under wind loads and 27.1% higher than that of the hexagonal rigid frames under wind and snow loads,the octagonal rigid frames have better bearing capacity than hexagonal rigid frames while the span and the components are the same.
