In recent years,the use of wind energy has made great progress.As a renewable energy source,wind energy has received wide attention worldwide.The number of wind farms in China has increased,and the number of installed wind turbines has gradually increased.According to relevant research,the proliferation of wind turbines will have a serious impact on the normal operation of the radar system.Therefore,the detection and suppression of wind turbine signals in radar echo has attracted more and more researchers' attention.How to effectively detect and mitigate wind turbine clutter is of great significance to the signal processing of radar systems.Firstly,based on the theory of echo target scattering point superposition model,the echo model of wind turbine is derived.Then,for the existence of multiple wind turbines,the multipath model of wind farm echo is established,and the detailed derivation process is given based on the derivation of wind turbine time domain echo model,the signal characteristics of wind turbine echo signals in time domain,frequency domain and time frequency domain are analyzed.Then the experiments are did to verify the correctness of the model creation,including a single wind turbine echo model and multipath parameter echo model.In addition,this paper focused on the analysis of several important model parameters on the echo signal,and the characteristics of the echo signal is specifically analyzed from the time-frequency domain.Secondly,according to the characteristics of significant periodicity and spectral width of echo in time domain and frequency domain,a wind turbine echo signal detection method based on spectral width feature is proposed,in which the estimation of spectral width is realized through mass center method.Then,compared with the typical aircraft target echo,the wind turbine echo has different JEM features.As a result,it is proposed to use the difference of different target JEM features to assist in the detection of the wind turbine clutter in the echo signal.And the simulation work is used to verified the feasibility of these methods.Finally,in the last part of the paper,a GAPES spectrum estimation algorithm for estimating the default data of wind turbine echo is introduced.This algorithm can solve the default problem of wind turbine echo data in a specific situation.For the problem of clutter suppression,the OMP algorithm is proposed to mitigate the wind turbine clutter.The experiment verifies the clutter suppression effect when the wind turbine signal and the aircraft target signal coexist.The feasibility of the proposed algorithm for the clutter signal under multipath model is also verified through experiments.The experimental results show that the method has great application prospects for clutter mitigation of wind turbines.
