Telescope play an important role in military reconnaissance,astronomical observation and other fields.In order to meet the needs of observation,telescope's diameter become larger,which causing telescope's volume and weight increased a lot as well.At present,it's a challenge to test the imaging quality of large telescope,traditional imaging quality detection methods are not able to detect telescopes with a few meters of diameter.In order to test the imaging quality of large telescope,this paper used a scanning Hartmann detection method.This method uses a two-dimensional scanning mechanism,driving a small-aperture collimator to traverse the telescope to sample.It avoids using large-diameter detection instruments,significantly reduces the difficulty of detection,and it can recover the low-order aberrations of the optical system effectively.For now the detection performance of this method is not clear,especially detection capabilities of different order aberrations,as well as detection accuracy under different subaperture distribution forms.This paper introduced current imaging quality detection methods of telescope system,include the basic principle of traditional detection methods,and their advantages and disadvantages.To verify the feasibility of scanning Hartmann method,a computer simulation model based on Matlab and Zemax was established.Using this simulation model,we compared the detection performance of the scanning Hartmann technology under aberrations of different order.We also explored the influence of key parameters of the scanning Hartmann method.This paper studied the detection accuracy under different subaperture distribution forms,as well as under different subaperture sizes,so that we could make the best choice to test large telescope.Besides,the main error sources of the scanning Hartmann method were analyzed,several types of errors were simulated to verify their influence on the detection accuracy.Based on conclusions of error analysis,the requirements of accuracy of the detection instrument were put forward.Finally,the Hubble telescope was tested using the scanning Hartmann method to further verify the performance of this method.This paper studied the scanning Hartmann detection technology applied to the image quality detection of large telescope,include the introduction of detection principles,the establishment of computer models,the influence of key parameters on detection accuracy and determination of parameters,and the source of errors.These reserach results completed the application details of the scanning Hartman technology,laid the foundation for the practical application of the technology.
