As a low-power WAN(LPWAN),LoRa has a great significance of the application of IOT.This thesis will make the feasibility analysis,and introduce some new IoT design concepts and schemes,based on the existing bridge monitoring systems and requirements.It follows the low-power concept in the whole design solution.Hardware design will be adopting a new ultralow-power MCU,long-range and low-power network communication mode,and clean energy power technology.Server deployment will be adopting cloud computing technology and cluster management,which can provide the features like network virtualization,distributed computing and distributed storage etc.,to ensure the service running stably.It also clouded combined with the Big-Data technology,through data collection,data analysis,provide functions like monitoring of the bridge health status,prediction of the risk analysis etc.The specific solution could be comprised by following aspects mainly:Firstly,the sensor network gateway should be designed with STM32L443 MCU as the core controller,which the ultra-low-power MCU,rich peripheral sources,cloud meeting the needs of sensor nodes' connection and communication transport,high energy efficiency to keep the security and stability of data transmission.Secondly,SX1278 as a wireless radio communication chip,to build the LPWAN network.Adopting LoRaMAC as a communication protocol,to solve the power problem of long-range communication,also it could be designed to compatible with NB-IoT.Thirdly,By integrating IoT,Cloud computing and Big-data technology,system was establishing a system platform of bridge monitoring,providing functions as remote wireless controlling and monitoring,data acquisition and analysis,security risk prediction etc.This thesis mainly describes the design and construction of the IoT system platform,and hopes that the system can be applied in various industries,not only the bridge monitoring.
