The Research On The Planning And Design Of University Area From The Perspective Of Urban Demand

The content of this thesis is based on the expansion of the project,trying to explore the planning and design strategy of the university area which from the perspective of urban demands.The so-called university area is a complex urban area centered on one or more universities in the city or urban suburbs,including a certain range of urban space in and around the university.By arranging the theoretical research from domestic and foreign on the relationship between universities and cities and the development history of contemporary universities in China,the author puts forward the specific content of the urban demand for the university.Based on the content of urban demand,the author proposes the concepts,principles and strategies of university district planning from three aspects: functional layout,road traffic and open space.This thesis is divided into two parts,the first part is the concrete project content display,contains the project's renderings,planning master plan,various analysis charts and so on;the next part is the practical research report,which can be divided into four Parts:The first part corresponds to the first and the second chapters of this thesis.Starting from the research background,the research object and content are determined,the research significance is proposed,the research method is determined,the research framework is formulated,the relevant theoretical research is sorted out,and the development history is reviewed.The second part corresponds to the third chapter of this thesis,which analyzes the three urban demands(cultural communication,industry integration and resource sharing)for the university.The third part corresponds to the fourth to sixth chapters of this thesis.According to the research status and the specific urban demand,this thesis proposes the planning and design strategies of the university area from the functional layout,road traffic and open space.In the chapter on functional layout,this thesis proposes the concept of urban function tightness in the university area and the principles and strategies of functional layout.In the chapter of road traffic,this thesis proposes the concept of urban traffic load in the university area and the principle and strategies of road traffic integration.In the chapter of open space,this thesis analyzes the types and roles of open space,and proposes the principles and strategies for the open space sharing of university districts.The fourth part corresponds to the seventh chapter of this thesis,summarizes the current research results and shortcomings,and looks forward to the future development direction of the university area.The full text is more than 56,000 words,142 photos and charts.
