Research And Implementation Of Intelligent Traffic Police Gesture Recognition Technology

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,the realization of automated and intelligent traffic police gesture recognition technology has become possible,and more and more researchers have invested in the research of traffic police gesture recognition.However,in addition to the huge amount of data on limb movement,data redundancy between image frames and the arbitrariness of limb movement are also huge challenges for gesture recognition.Therefore,how to effectively detect the gestures of traffic police,how to effectively extract the characteristics of traffic police gestures,and how to identify traffic police gestures in an effective way have become the key issues to be solved in traffic police gesture recognition.To this end,this paper explores the traffic police gesture detection and recognition technology,and implements the intelligent traffic police gesture recognition system based on digital image processing technology,target detection algorithm and DTW algorithm.The main research contents of the thesis are as follows:(1)The image preprocessing method,gesture recognition related technology and edge contour extraction method used in this paper are deeply studied,and a traffic warning gesture recognition method based on DTW algorithm is proposed.(2)Study a human limb upper limb curve processing technique.Based on the upper limb motion detection technology of the video human body,the traffic police gesture is segmented to extract the contour of the limb edge.At the same time,the dynamic region edge point retention method is used to filter out the interference of the background,the surrounding environment and the non-rigid problem of the human body,and draw more precise edges.Contour information.Experiments show that the traditional gesture detection method combined with the dynamic region edge point retention method has a good detection effect.(3)Research on a gesture recognition technology based on DTW algorithm.The DTW algorithm is used to identify the contour of the traffic police gesture after segmentation.Through research and a large number of simulation experiments,the DTW algorithm used in this paper is applied to the traffic police gesture recognition system with high recognition rate and robustness.In addition,the DTW algorithm can effectively solve the recognition problem caused by differences in gesture speed and posture.
