In today's turbulent and competitive economic environment,the effective implementation of risk management,internal control,corporate governance and the full realization of the internal value of the enterprise is crucial to the enterprise,which is critical to the survival of the enterprise.Against this backdrop,many enterprises are actively exploring the development of value-added internal audit with the function of increasing enterprise value,improving enterprise economic efficiency,and reducing business risk.This paper provides a theoretical exploration of the new value-added model of internal audit,"Integration of Business and Audit"(hereinafter referred to as IBA),and a case analysis of Company A's IBA System,which has achieved preliminary results,aiming to provide reference for enterprises exploring value-added internal audit.In order to explore the theoretical value of "Integration of Business and Audit",this paper reviews the current literature on value-added internal audit and IBA,and summarizes the generally accepted value-added pathways,and finds that there is still very little research on the theory and practice of "IBA".Therefore,in the theoretical overview chapter,I attempted to present the understanding of IBA and analyzed the relationship between IBA and value-added internal audit,and found that IBA is an effective way to add audit value.At the same time,the difference between IBA and ordinary value-added internal audit and the theoretical significance of IBA are also discussed,and the advantages and significance of IBA are analyzed in the hope of contributing to the study of the gap in the field of IBA.Immediately afterwards,the paper explores the practical implications of the integration of practice.First,using Company A as a case study subject,analyzed its value-added internal audit model with smooth operation and significant results,and found that its value-added system consists of four aspects: audit information platform,big data technology,audit results transformation system and management support,each of which fully utilizes the concept of IBA.Subsequently,the effect of the implementation of the integrated audit system in Company A was analyzed to illustrate the value-added effect of the integrated audit system and its practical significance.Then,it pointed out the difficulties encountered by Company A in the application of the integrated system,and made suggestions such as building a mechanism for the rotation of audit positions,establishing a shared audit knowledge base,and expandingthe mechanism of linkage between functional departments,in order to help improve the value-added system.Finally,based on Company A's internal audit development experience,this paper summarizes four key elements of an integrated value-added system of audits that are universal in nature and the conditions that need to be in place for reference by companies of all types.It is hoped that this article can serve as a guide for the development of value-added internal audit in other Chinese enterprises through the exploration and analysis of the valuable experience of Company A.
