The traffic safety management links in cold regions are relatively weak compared to cities in southern China.This is because the climate and environment in cold regions will have a significant impact on urban traffic safety.The ice and snow period in the cold region lasts a long time,and the urban road safety facilities have been affected by the ice and snow climate for a long time.The conflict between pedestrians and vehicles crossing the street has always puzzled urban traffic managers during the ice and snow period.The crosswalk on the non-letter-controlled section is covered by snow and ice,the road conditions are poor,the difficulty of avoiding between people and vehicles is large,and traffic collision accidents are prone to occur.Therefore,it is necessary to fundamentally study the factors that cause conflicts between pedestrians and motor vehicles on the street,and solve the problem of pedestrian and vehicle conflicts in essence,which will play a positive role in improving pedestrian crossing efficiency and traffic safety in the cold and snowy period.The pedestrian crossing process is regarded as a game between people and vehicles,and the game theory is applied to the study of the conflict between people and vehicles in the unbelievable road section in the cold and snowy period.Investigate and analyze the traffic characteristics that affect the decisions of the two parties during the ice and snow season,and then describe the pedestrian crossing game.On this basis,dynamic game models of pedestrian-first decision and motor-vehicle priority decision are constructed respectively.Based on the analysis of the equilibrium solution of the game model,the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the safety of pedestrians crossing the street during the snow and ice period are provided.The relevant research content is briefly described below:(1)Taking Changchun City as an example,a survey of pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic characteristics on 4 uncontrolled roads in four different urban roads in the city was conducted.Obtain parameters such as pedestrian crossing time,waiting time,crossing speed,number of stops,and vehicle speed and traffic volume.Study the important characteristics of pedestrian crossing in terms of delay,risk and conflict.Determine the critical psychological safety distance for pedestrians crossing the street during the snow and ice period.Based on field surveys,the data of ice and snow periods are compared with the data of non-ice seasons,and the traffic behavior characteristics and psychological characteristics of pedestrians and motor vehicles crossing the streets in unconfined sections during the ice and snow periods in cities in the cold region are analyzed.According to the psychological characteristics,the pedestrian waiting process is divided into three stages to provide a basis for subsequent model construction.(2)This article introduces the theory of game theory,and describes the game scenario of pedestrians and motor vehicles crossing the street at the crossroads without signal control in the ice-snow period.Determine the relevant elements for the construction of the game model,and do the parameterization of the elements.Set the initial value of the income utility of the influencing factors at different waiting stages,and study and determine the strategic choice and income utility of both parties.A dynamic game model of pedestrian crossing is established on the premise of pedestrian decision-making,and a dynamic game model of pedestrian crossing is established on the premise of motor vehicle priority decision.The equilibrium solutions of the two game models are calculated,and the equilibrium results are obtained and analyzed.(3)Based on the analysis results of the equilibrium solution,the internal causes of the pedestrian-vehicle crossing conflict are explained,and the research results of this paper are given.Describe the limitations of pedestrian crossing safety facilities during the ice and snow periods in the cold region.Aiming at the limitation,the countermeasures to improve the street crossing facilities were put forward.And from different angles,suggestions for improving pedestrian crossing safety during the ice and snow periods in the cold region are put forward.
