When performing space tasks such as tracking and capturing space targets,various objects in the space scene need to be imaged and observed.However,due to the limitations of some factors,the actual imaging results of the space target under various postures and lighting conditions cannot be obtained,and the cost of conducting such actual experiments is too high;therefore,the research of ground-based optical imaging simulation models and methods for space object imaging observation has Important application value.This topic will take the ground-based optical simulation imaging simulation observation experiment as the background,and the spatial target with complex surface as the goal.In-depth study and discussion of the optical characteristic modeling and imaging simulation calculation method of the spatial target.The main research work of the thesis includes the following three aspects:(1)Modeling of geometric and optical characteristics of complex surface space targets,a geometric structure modeling method for complex surface space targets is proposed,and the model is meshed using finite element analysis software,with a focus on the larger micro surface scale The target part of the model uses the fractal geometry idea to further construct the geometric structure model.It has been experimentally verified that this method can effectively represent the characteristics of the surface with a large micro-surface size;and for the different materials of the space target surface,suitable for each material characteristic is proposed Optical characteristic model,and experiments verify that the optical characteristic model is consistent with the properties of the actual material under light.(2)Simulation of imaging radiation characteristics.The main purpose of imaging simulation is to find the pixel value of each pixel of the camera image surface in the imaging scene.The ray tracing algorithm theory is used in the paper to discuss the simulation imaging calculation method and the projection camera model solution Image transformation relationship,and use the radiation transmission equation to solve the radiation transmission characteristics of the light transmission process,and the Monte Carlo method solves the integration in the radiation transmission equation,and finally calculates the radiance of each light emitted from the image surface as Pixel values.(3)The realization of the imaging method of complex surface space target simulation,using C++ language to program the imaging simulation process,first write the read function of the stl file to import the spatial target geometric structure,and give the spatial target surface its corresponding discrete triangular surface element BRDF value,and use the ray tracing program pbrt interface to achieve imaging simulation of complex surface space targets;the resulting surface simulation image is ideal.
