In recent years,high-speed railway(HSR)has been developing rapidly.With the operation of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou HSR,automatic train operation(ATO)system of HSR has gradually become a hot research issue in the industry.Learning from the mature application experience of ATO system of urban rail transit(URT),and meanwhile clarifying the difference between the URT and the HSR,designing an automatic driving method that conforms to the operating characteristics of high-speed train will promote the application of the ATO system of HSR.From the perspective of difference in power supply system,this thesis studies the automatic operation of high-speed train with considering neutral zone,which is more in line with the actual situation.For the research,the main work is as follows:Based on the way of Auto-passing neutral zone,the actual coasting distance in the neutral zone is analyzed.By discussing the effects of setting neutral zone at different position on train operation and speed profile optimization,The upper and lower speed limit constraint of neutral zone and the smooth operation constraint of neutral transition zone are given.The evaluation indicators of ATO for HSR are given,which include comfort,punctuality,parking accuracy,smooth operation in neutral zone,with considering the operational objectives.The mathematical model of coating distance when passing neutral zone and train energy-saving optimization model are constructed,and dynamic programming is used to solve.A new method to improve the solution efficiency by optimizing the state transition calculation is proposed.Numerous simulation results show that the proposed method effectively reduces the average computation time from 251.4s to 78.7s without affecting the solution.The fastest running profile calculation method of the existing compression strategy of state space is improved.Considering the power split phase constraint,the state transition is calculated separately inside and outside the neutral zone.To ensure that the train passes the neutral zone successfully,a quick online adjustment method for the speed curve under the temporary speed restrict is given,and the computation time is less than 0.2s.By simulation examples,the recommended speed curves with neutral zone constraint on the condition of normal and temporary speed restrict are given respectively,which provides a prerequisite for the train to smoothly pass through the neutral zone.The speed tracking controller is designed based on fuzzy PID.Subsequently,the optimization of the controller and the adaptive adjustment of parameters are completed.There are two adjustment schemes of tracking strategy considered under normal and temporary speed restrict circumstances.The one is for the neutral zone and the neutral transition zone,and another is used to be safe for adjusting process and adjusted,which further ensure that the train smoothly passes through neutral zone.based on the.NET framework and the object-oriented C#,The simulation system of ATO for HSR is developed.Through the simulation ATO system,the information of the neutral zone can be visually viewed,and the running status,traction or braking control variables,tracking error and so on can be displayed in real time,which realized the simulation analysis of automatic operation of high-speed train under the constraint of neutral zone.Finally,The above methods are verified by using the developed simulation system.
