The word Security can explain as,"the state in which a person is free from danger or threat." While Privacy defines as,"the state where a person is not observed or allot by others without his concern." However,the Security and Privacy in Smart Meter's software aim to ensure that the communication processes between the Smart Meter and the supplier accomplished without any interruption such as software hackers or malicious users.Smart Metering has emerged with the next-generation of energy distribution method,which can send and receive customers' detailed usage information to the utility through a radio-frequency transmitter or over the power lines in the case of Powerline Carrier(PLC)systems.Next-generation smart meters can offer an entrance into the house and permit the utilities and customers to manage consumption.Utilities will discover a dynamic rating to produce incentives to customers to shift peak masses.In contrast,customers will better track their usage and judge them once not to use appliances that consume large amounts of power to scale back their energy bills.The use of smart meter poses several security issues.When implementing the system,hardware and software designers need to think about the different ways in which someone can hack into the system.The lack of built qualities of the physical circuit and the smart utilizes raises the prospects of different types of cyber and physical security of smart meter.This kind of security concern is rising day by day.It needs to be addressed and solved to increase consumer's trust and confidence.This research goal is to prevent the possible security threats of the Smart Meter software and protect consumers' sensitive data.Thus,it is essential to find the existing threats and protection mechanisms to gain a deeper understanding of the meter attacks,which could help to achieve the project goal.However,this research focuses on "external threats(physical)as well as software threats(cyber)" according to the limited time.For achieving our goal,we'll use the double attacking tempering method technique,and the problem will formulate as a code generated problem,where we will utilize a set of code with a set of features and study.Each feature is to predict future failures and set the comfort levels of the user.The proposed framework attains the security of the Smart Meter software from tampering and protects the user's data from the unethical entrance.
