Steering-By-Wire(SBW)is one of the recent hot research topics in the field of electric vehicle steering system research.In this paper,based on the research on the structure and working principle of the electric vehicle steering system,a new set of steering system is designed,developed and processed,and the system is tested.First of all,according to the development order of automobile steering system,each steering system is summarized,and the current status of the research on the domestic and foreign research on the steering system is analyzed in detail.The new wire-controlled steering system uses a ball screw mechanism instead of the traditional steering mechanism to convert rotary motion into reciprocating linear motion.The torque output from the steering motor is transmitted to the steering wheel through the synchronous belt synchronous belt mechanism,ball screw mechanism and a series of transmission rods to make the steering movement.Then,the parameters of the components of the steering system are designed,including the number of teeth and center distance of the pulley,the timing belt selection and transmission ratio,the screw length and torque calculation,etc.CATIA was used to design and draw the various mechanisms of the steer-by-wire system,including synchronous wheel synchronous belt mechanism,ball screw mechanism,fixed plate,protective cover,etc.Then use CAXA to draw a two-dimensional picture of each part and process it.This paper also studies the steering motor control,analyzes and establishes the mathematical model and coordinate transformation of the permanent magnet synchronous motor,and uses MATAB / Simulink for model building and simulation.The space vector pulse width modulation technology is studied,and PID control,id =0 control and synovial control are also analyzed.Finally,the bench of the steer-by-wire system was built and the steering experiment was carried out.The curves of current,mechanical rotation angle,electrical angle and torque with time were measured.The SBW designed by this article has innovative value,not only simple structure,stable performance,but also good steering effect.
