Bearing is the most important basic element in rotating machinery,which can guarantee the stability and precision of mechanical operation.With the development of bearing-rotor system,the requirements of reliability and safety of the system are also improved,which makes it an urgent problem to improve bearing performance.In order to solve the above problems,semi-active control bearings with better performance are designed by using magnetostrictive materials and magnetorheological materials.Magnetic fluid and super magnetostrictive materials are new intelligent materials,which can be used for vibration control,and their control effect is better than that of traditional intelligent materials.The application of the above materials to the design of bearings can greatly improve the service life of bearings load capacity and position accuracy,and can achieve the vibration of the semi-active control function.In this paper,the main part and control system of magnetostrictive drive magneto-fluid bearing are designed based on the viscosity controllable property of magneto-fluid and the displacement controllable property of magnetostrictive material.Firstly,the magnetic fluid bearings used in the magnetostrictive drive magneto-fluid bearings are analyzed,and the displacement adjustment range of the magnetostrictive drives is determined according to the working clearance of the magneto-fluid bearings.Pre-tightening device of the main part of the dynamic magnetic fluid bearing and bearing seat.By using the optimization design method,the structural parameters of the super magnetostrictive driver are optimized,and the internal magnetic field of the super magnetostrictive driver before and after optimization is studied by ANSYS finite element analysis software simulation,which verifies the rationality of the design of the super magnetostrictive driver.Simulation results show that the optimized magnetostrictive actuator has uniform magnetic field distribution and no obvious magnetic leakage,and the driver design is reasonable.In order to further test the performance of the optimized magnetostrictive actuator,a performance test system based on the Lab VIEW data acquisition platform is built.The semi-active control system of magneto-fluid sliding bearing is designed by PID controller,and the system is simulated by simulink to verify the feasibility of the semi-active control system.The simulation results show that the system is feasible and effective,and can suppress vibration,which provides theoretical and experimental basis for the study of the experimental performance of magneto-hydrodynamic bearings driven bymagnetostrictive force.
