Nowadays, energy consumption is increasing day by day,and energy conservation and emission reduction are becoming more and more urgent. And the use of thermal insulation materials is an important way of building energy conservation. However, organic thermal insulation materials have great fire risk.Once burned, the fire will spread easily. The water film formed by spraying can protect the unburned area by pre-wetting,which is an important means to prevent the spread of fire.Exploring the law of pre-wetting of water film to inhibit the combustion of vertical insulation materials has important theoretical guiding significance for optimizing fire extinguishing methods.Taking polystyrene thermal insulation material as the research object, using the method of experiment and theory, this paper studied the inhibition of water film pre-wetting on vertical thermal insulation material combustion under different water film flow rates and radiation intensities. The falling film(water film)device and the thermal radiation device were designed, and the experimental platform of water film pre-wetting to inhibit the combustion of vertical insulation materials was built. The calibration experiment of radiation heat flux intensity was carried out.The maximum temperature inside the radiation plate and the maximum radiation intensity received at the center of the insulation material were measured under one voltage. The fitting relationship between the voltage and each of them was obtained The uniformity of radiation intensity was verified by 5-point calibration experiment of thermal insulation materials under the same voltage. The experiment of water film pre-wetting to inhibit the combustion of vertical insulation materials was carried out.The results showed the minimum flow rate that can form a water film and obtained the critical water film flow rate at which dry spots, melting and deformation appear on the surface of the insulation materials under a certain radiation intensity. The time required from the beginning of the experiment to the appearance of dry spots, deformation and melting is measured to be positively correlated with the water flow rate, and negatively related to the radiation intensity.Through the analysis of Matlab,it is found that the area of the final state of the material is negatively correlated with the water film flow rate, and positively correlated with the radiation.Figure 46;Table 7;Reference 47...
