In the production of modern machinery,all kinds of mechanical equipment are developing in the direction of miniaturization and precision,especially for gear transmission.In today’s gear transmission,the form of reducer is various,and nutating reducer is one of them.The nutating reducer is a reducer designed according to the principle of nutating,which has the advantages of small size,light weight,high transmission accuracy,and simple structure.It is in line with the development trend of mechanical transmission,and is widely used in robot joints,aerospace and other fields.In foreign countries,the research on Nutation reducer is very developed,and there are many kinds,and the application is very popular.It has been expanded to civilian aspect.On the contrary,in our country,the structure of nutation reducer is very few,and in most scholars’ research,most researches are on the theory of nutation reducer,and the research on its structure is very few.In particular,there is little innovation in structural research.Therefore,it is necessary to study the structural innovation of nutation reducer,which is the original intention of this thesis.In the research of this paper,in order to meet the above needs,a new type of nutating reducer will be designed.This nutating reducer is combined with a universal joint structure to further improve its performance and further innovate its structure.In this paper,the theoretical knowledge of this type of reducer needs to be studied,such as the nutating principle,transmission ratio calculation,interference principle etc.,to lay the foundation for the design of a new type of nutating reducer based on the universal joint type.Then,Determine the parameters to design the nutating reducer,and perform Adams and Ansys Workbench analysis on the designed new nutating reducer.Adams mainly analyzes the kinematics and dynamics of the reducer,and Ansys Workbench mainly performs statics and vibration on the reducer.Based on the analysis,the performance of the nutating reducer based on the universal joint design will be studied.Finally,a new type of nutating reducer with good performance will be designed.
