In order to slow down global warming,countries are actively looking for renewable energy.As an excellent renewable energy,wind energy has the characteristics of huge reserves and no pollution.Offshore wind energy is abundant,and under the guidance of policies,China’s offshore wind power market is booming.Offshore wind power operation and maintenance vessels have received extensive attention as special vessels serving offshore wind farms.In recent years,offshore wind farms have continued to develop,and coastal wind energy development has become saturated.The development of offshore wind farms is gradually moving away from the coast.In order not to affect the operation efficiency of wind farms,higher requirements are placed on the rapid performance of O & M vessels.In this paper,the ship type of offshore three-body wind power operation and maintenance ship is researched,and through the numerical simulation calculation,the operation and maintenance ship type with better fast performance is obtained.This article uses the ship design software NAPA to build and perfect the model of the trimaran based on the hull line diagram of the trimaran.The numerical simulation software STAR-CCM + is used to study the numerical simulation method of the ship’s static water resistance,and the numerical calculation results are compared with the test values to verify the reliability of the simulation method.By changing the shape of the cross section of the side body of the trimaran,five types of ship types including the basic ship type are obtained.In the simulation software STAR-CCM +,the above-mentioned simulation method was used to perform numerical simulation calculation of ship resistance for five ship types,and the impact of each program on resistance performance was analyzed.In this paper,the propeller graph design is carried out using the simulation data of the trimaran resistance and the parameters of the main engine,and the best propeller parameters are obtained after the cavitation check.Convert the two-dimensional value of the propeller to the three-dimensional value,and use the modeling software Solid Works to establish the propeller model.The open water environment is simulated in the simulation software STAR-CCM + to calculate the open water performance of the propeller.Comparing the calculated value with the experimental value verifies the reliability of the model and simulation method.Install the propeller model to the stern of 5 ship types and check the integrity of the connection.A virtual pool is built in the simulation software STAR-CCM + to calculate the wake field of 5 types of paddle-shaped ship schemes.The influence of various schemes on wake field is analyzed.This paper focuses on the offshore three-body wind power operation and maintenance ship,and systematically uses the virtual pool technology to study the hydrodynamic performance of each type of ship type.The propellers of this series of ships were matched and self-propelled simulations were carried out to obtain a ship type solution with better fast performance.The related research results will provide a certain reference value for the fast performance of the trimaran.
