As a special ecosystem connecting waters and land,wetlands are closely related to people’s living environment.Wetland parks have various functions such as popular science,entertainment,and protection of wetlands.The construction of wetland parks can not increase the intensity of wetland protection,but also contributes to the improvement of urban environmental quality and development,it is a reasonable use of city wetland resources and a necessary way for the sustainable development of cities in the future.This article aims to summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the landscape construction of Fengxiang Wetland Park by conducting the plant survey and landscape evaluation of Meixiang River Fengxiang Wetland Park in Haikou City,and finally make reasonable,scientific and humanized suggestions for the landscape management and development of the park.Hope to provide reference for the ecological construction of urban wetland park.The plant survey results of 38 plots in seven areas of Meishe River Fengxiang Wetland Park show that there are 120 species of plants in the park,belonging to 64 families and 112 genera.In quantitative analysis,the important value range of the tree layer is between 0.018 and 0.438;the important value range of the shrub layer is between 0.092 and 0.491;the important value range of the herb layer is between 0.017 and 0.206.The results of plant diversity showed that the average species richness was 13.429,the Shannon-Wiener index ranged from 1.385 to 3.378,the highest Simpson index was 0.139,the lowest was 0.056,and the Pielou uniformity index was 0.246 to 2.034.The comprehensive results showed that the dominant species in the arbor layer were Puti,Yezi and Yangtijia;the dominant species in the shrub layer was Sanweikui;the dominant species in the herb layer were Haiyu and Fengchecao.In terms of scenic spots,the species richness and diversity index of constructed wet areas are higher than other scenic spots,and the plant communities are more complete,while the plant communities in Yuanlu District,River Bank District,and Arbor Forest Area need to be further improved.In terms of landscape evaluation,combining the SD method,factor analysis method,AHP method and comprehensive index method,it is finally concluded that there are one Grade II landscape area in the seven landscape areas of Meishe River Fengxiang Wetland Park--artificial wet area,and five Grade III landscape areas are the entrance area,arbor forestarea,orchard area,natural wet area and garden road area,and a grade IV landscape area-riparian area.The landscape evaluation results are consistent with the plant survey results.Based on the results of the plant survey and landscape evaluation of the Meishe River Fengxiang Wetland Park,as far as is concerned the plant species in the wetland park,especially the native plants and wet plants are relatively few,the Joe shrub ratio is unreasonable,the plants are not evenly distributed,the low quality level of park landscapes these questions,the corresponding improvement and management measures related to the three major aspects of landscape,facilities and later maintenance are proposed.
