Post Occupancy Evaluation Of The Open Space Of Xi'an University Of Architecture And Technology In The Situation Of Alumni Returning To Alma Mater

In recent years,the activities of alumni return to their alma mater are taken more and more attention by colleges and universities,but the survey shows that the great majority of alumni have low evaluation on the activities of returning to alma mater,which is manifested in the following aspects-the lack of activity space for alumni on campus,low participation in alumni activities,and the low quality of alumni activity space.This study takes the open space of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology as the research object,based on the satisfaction evaluation model of the open space in the situation of alumni returning to alma mater.Through the Post Occupancy Evaluation,the problems of the existing space are found,and based on this,some suggestions are put forward.The main content of this paper has four parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the basic situation of the paper from the aspects of questions-posting,selection of research objects and literature review of related concepts.The second chapter is the theoretical basis and analytical framework,which summarizes the related concepts and theories of the situation,alumni and Post Occupancy Evaluation,and then determines the target population and research methods of the paper.Chapter three and chapter four correspond to the main research part of this paper.In chapter three,three typical situations of alumni return to alma mater of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology and their corresponding three spatial types are established through the qualitative research.In chapter four,a set of satisfaction evaluation factors of the open space of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology in the situation of alumni returning to alma mater is established by the construction method of the evaluation model.The fifth and sixth chapters correspond to the suggestions and summary of this paper.The fifth chapter firstly carries out the evaluation of alumni satisfaction,then analyzes the spatial problems based on the evaluation results,and finally proposes the transformation plan based on the priority level of the problems.The sixth chapter reviews the main conclusions of this paper,points out the innovation and shortcomings of the research,and puts forward some suggestions for future research.The main conclusions of this study are as follows.The first is to establish three typical situations of alumni returning to alma mater of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology-the situation of recalling collective memory,the situation of walking on campus,the situation of returning to alma mater to participate in the rally.The second is to propose an open space system based on three typical situations of alumni return to alma mater of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology-the recall collective memory space of alumni,the slow traffic space of alumni,and the rally space of alumni.The third is to establish a set of satisfaction evaluation factors with alumni as the main user.The fourth is to put forward transformed strategy of the open space of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology in the situation of alumni returning to alma mater.
