As the nodes connecting two or more rail transit lines, the distribution of urban rail transit transfer stations can have an important influence on the distribution trend of urban rail transit lines. Therefore,it is necessary to study the reasonable distribution of transfer stations in the early stage of urban rail transit network planning. At present, there are few studies on the distribution of transfer stations, and the selection of stations relies solely on the subjective consideration of planners, and lacks systematic model support. Therefore, based on early stage of network planning, this paper mainly studies the distribution of transfer stations of urban rail transit and provides some references for the network planning. To determine the distribution of transfer stations, the first step is to determine the number of applicable transfer stations in the city. This paper takes several cities with existing rail transit as research objects.According to the status of rail transit and urban development of each city, the model used to calculate the number of transfer stations in the city is obtained through regression analysis, and the specific number range applicable to the transfer stations in the target city can be obtained. At the same time, transfer stations can play themaximum role only when they are located near the main distribution points incities with large distribution demand. Therefore,by selecting the influence index and adopting the method of cluster analysis, the grade of urban distributeonpoints is determined, and the final distribution scheme of transfer stations isobtained by combining the applicable number of transfer stations. Finally, shijiazhuang is selected as the experimental city to collect relevant index data toverify the reliability of the model.
