In recent years,with the rapid development of the world economy,various industrial demands for energy are increasing with days,especially for power energy,but their global distributions are not balanced,which promotes the long-distance transmission of power energy,such as the technology of UHV and EHV transmission lines can also become the research object of all countries in the world.With the construction of power transmission line,especially long-distance transmission line in large quantity,the traditional RTK satellite positioning measurement technology has been unable to meet the engineering requirement.Meanwhile,the measurement technology has also changed greatly,so how to apply the new UAV-carried lidar measurement technology to the transmission line measurement has gradually become the object for the transmission line measurement industry to research in recent years.However,the particularity of transmission line engineering still remains many problems and difficulties in the direct application of UAV-carried lidar measurement technology for practical production.In this paper,the engineering cases were combined to discuss such an application from respects of the traditional RTK satellite positioning measurement technology and the new UAV-carried lidar measurement technology respectively,and their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed,and combined with the actual production demand,a reasonable scheme of combining the two was proposed so for the more efficient transmission line measurement.
