Near-surface mounted CFRP is a new reinforcement method in the field of reinforcement.CFRP has been gradually used in various types of bridge reinforcement and civil building maintenance,which is a kind of new generation composite materials,containing many excellent properties,such as low density and corrosion resistance.In the field of reinforced concrete structures strengthened with CFRP plates,most of the experimental studies focus on the CFRP plate at the bottom of the strengthened beams,however,in some practical engineering,because of some lines close to the beam through the bottom or there are some obstacles at the bottom of the beam,it will be difficult to construct if the beam needs pasting CFRP plates on the bottom,pasting CFRP plate on the side of the beam is also a feasible method.On the basis of summarizing the results of previous experience,this paper mainly makes the following research contents:Firstly,this text designs 6 concrete beams with CFRP plate.The bending test was carried out on the side of the CFRP board,This paper introduces the test process and record the phenomenon and the related experimental results,including damage form,load value,strain,mid-span deflection and so on.Results show that the reinforcement effects of reinforced beams are related to the width and embedded length of CFRP,distance from under the concrete surface.In a certain range,increasing the width of CFRP board,the length of the attachment and the closer the patch part to reinforced location can improve the bearing capacity and deformation capacity of the specimen during the use phase.Secondly,use ANSYS to simulate and analyze the reinforced beams,and the comparison of the test data,the error is smaller,which is proved that this method is reliable,which can be used for the design of reinforcement engineering,at the same time,the amount of CFRP,the reinforcement ratio and the concrete strength are used as the finite element parameters to study the bearing capacity of reinforced beams.Thirdly,according to test data,combining the theory of ordinary reinforced concrete beam bending bearing capacity calculation,the correction coefficient is introduced,and the calculation method of bearing capacity of CFRP plate is added.
