Taking sisal fiber reinforced loess as the research object,this paper studies the effects of different length,different content and different reinforced areas on the shear strength characteristics of sisal fiber reinforced loess.(1)Under the condition of different controlling factors,the stress-strain curve of sisal fiber reinforced loess under triaxial consolidation undrained test is basically consistent with that of unmixed fiber loess,and the stress-strain curve of low confining pressure(50kPa,100kPa)has obvious peak strength,while the stress-strain curve of high confining pressure(200kPa,400kPa)shows no obvious strain softening.The peak strength of sisal fiber reinforced loess is higher than that of unmixed fiber loess under different control factors.(2)With the increase of the length and content of sisal fiber,the cohesion increases at first and then decreases,but has little effect on the angle of internal friction,and different reinforced regions have typical zoning on the cohesion of sisal fiber reinforced loess;the interface friction between sisal fiber and loess skeleton particles,the pull-out ability of sisal fiber and the three-dimensional reticular structure of sisal fiber provide the shear strength reinforcement of sisal fiber reinforced loess.(3)The cohesion increment of sisal fiber reinforced loess is calculated by quasi-cohesion theory,and the effect of sisal fiber reinforced loess is evaluated based on Duncan-Chang model.
