Under the pressure of environmental protection and energy shortage,how to make vehicles emit less and save energy more has become a key topic that people need to conduct in-depth research.And the development of new energy vehicle is significant in it.Recently,battery electric vehicle,as one of the forms of new energy vehicle,has developed rapidly in China.Driving motor is the heart of battery electric vehicle,so it needs a set of well-organized control system to give precise controls for multiple working conditions.This paper took battery electric mini closed van as the research object,and completed the design and control characteristics research of driving motor control system combining with engineering practice.The van belongs to the N1 category vehicle and is a type of commercial vehicle.And the category of driving motor is interior permanent magnet synchronous machine.Firstly,in order to meet the driving needs of the van,the control characteristics of motor control system were researched,including the analysis of motor type and structure,the establishment of mathematical model and coordinate transformation,the selection of control strategy and the determination of FOC implementation scheme.And researching implementation methods of all FOC segments,including double closed loop PI control,the maximum torque per ampere control,field weakening control,pulse width modulation technology of space vector and so on.Then,through the above researches,the control system simulation model was built and simulation was completed in MATLAB/Simulink.The whole vehicle and road models were built in Car Sim and a control system co-simulation between Simulink and Car Sim was performed referencing to relevant GB standards.Simulation curves were analysed and the feasibility of FOC implementation scheme was verified preliminarily.Finally,the control system design including hardware design and software design was completed according to FOC implementation scheme.The hardware design is the development of circuit board,and the software design included the development of application layer and underlying software.And the motor bench test of the control system was performed.The bench test results showed that the control system can control the motor precisely with small torque fluctuation,high torque accuracy and high working stability under multiple working conditions.The feasibility of FOC implementation scheme and the practicality of control system were verified.The selected control strategy can meet the driving needs of battery electric mini closed van.Simulation verification had a good guiding significance for the development of control system and can shorten the development cycle.The software design applied the development architecture of application layer and underlying software,which can improve the development efficiency.
