The reticulated shell structure has the advantages of beautiful appearance, good streamlined shape, large span, etc. In recent years,it has been widely used in engineering. However, with the increasing span of the structure, the stability problem of the structure becomes more and more prominent. How to make the structure have sufficient bearing capacity and stability under load has become the key to ensuring the safety of the structure. In this paper, the local double-layer Kewitt single-layer spherical reticulated shell is taken as the research object, and the systematic research is conducted from two aspects of static stability analysis and seismic response analysis.First, the spatial double-layer Kaiwitt lattice shell structure model was established by using the spatial structure design software MSTCAD.On the premise of ensuring that the cross-sectional dimensions of the selected member meet the strength control and allowable slenderness ratio, the cross-section is checked to obtain accurate Structural static stability data and structural seismic response data. Then,a large-scale parameter analysis method is used to analyze the stability of the local double-layer Kewitt reticulated shell structure, including the reticulated shell span,vector-span ratio, support method, asymmetric loading effect, initial geometric defect value, etc. The effect of shell nonlinear stability. The analysis shows that the vector-span ratio and the span have a significant influence on the ultimate bearing capacity of this kind of reticulated shell and have good regularity;the supporting conditions and load distribution modes have little effect on the structural ultimate bearing capacity;the initial defects The increase will reduce the ultimate bearing capacity of the structure and the overall rigidity, which needs to be controlled. Finally, the BR motion criterion is used as the structural failure judgment criterion, and the ElCentro seismic wave is used as the ground motion input. The structural dynamic stability of the local double-layer Kewitt reticulated shell structure is analyzed. The parameters were studied, and through analysis of the seismic response results, the variation law of the structure's response under earthquake action with the vector-span ratio and roof quality was obtained. The results show that: under the action of three-dimensional seismic input, the response of the structure is larger than that of the single-dimensional seismic input, and the response caused by the vertical seismic input is larger than that of the horizontal seismic input;the load amplitude of the structure is relatively larger when the structure with a small vector span ratio is unstable The plasticity of the large and the rod is more fully developed, and the structure has better ductility;roof quality is a factor that affects its dynamic response, and the roof quality has little effect on the dynamic response of the structure without changing other conditions.
