China is a big country producing electricity and a big country in terms of electricity.It has balanced the domestic power supply by setting up high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage transmission lines.The deterioration of various power facilities such as transmission lines threatens the safety of the power grid at any time,and once an outbreak will cause large-scale power outages and other power accidents.This paper studies the discharge detection problem of power lines.Based on the discharge UV detection method,combined with UAV inspection design,an efficient and safe discharge positioning method is designed.At the same time,the design and development of the discharge UV detection system are completed.The main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)The photomultiplier tube is used as the discharge UV signal detector.Multi-angle detection is performed by swinging the photomultiplier tube.The detection position and detection angle are recorded when the detection signal intensity is the largest in a swing period.Use the AOA(Angle of Arrival)positioning method to solve the discharge point.In order to avoid no solution,any two detection points can be solved simultaneously to solve a discharge point.After all the connections are complete,a set of discharge points can be obtained.The more discrete points in these discharge points are eliminated,and then imported into the K-means clustering algorithm for secondary solution,and finally the discharge points are located.The experimental results show that the errors of the discharge positioning are 1.5m,2.7m,and 3.1m at 18m,30m,and 50m away from the power source.(2)A photomultiplier tube and a "sun-blind" filter are used to design and develop a system that can be equipped with drones to achieve round-the-clock discharge inspection.Considering that the UAV will pass through the dead zone of the base station signal during the power line inspection,the discharge detection system is divided into the UAV’s airborne detection terminal and the computer display terminal.The airborne detection terminal records the discharge data locally and the computer displays.The terminal is a WEB application that reads and stores the local data of the airborne detection terminal,which can facilitate the operator’s classification query and visual map display of the discharge data.The discharge detection system is debugged,and the system can work normally according to requirements,and realize discharge phenomenon detection,discharge data recording,discharge information storage and query,and discharge location map display.The UV detection and positioning method for UAV inspection discharge proposed in this paper can effectively locate the power source.The UV detection system designed and developed meets the design requirements and can detect,record and query the power source.
