With the rapid development of industrial informatization and the continuous improvement of flow detection technology,ultrasonic flowmeter has gradually occupied an important position in the market due to its non-contact,wide detection range and good applicability.However,the traditional ultrasonic flowmeter ignores the area change of the cross section in the pipeline during the detection,which leads to the corresponding error in the actual flow measurement application.An industrial pipeline flow detection system based on cross-section is developed to further improve the detection accuracy of flowmeter,meet the actual detection needs of the market,and improve the applicability of flowmeter.Based on the research foundation of the application of ultrasonic and ultrasonic flowmeter at home and abroad,through the analysis of the detection principle of ultrasonic liquid level,flow rate,flow and cross-section area.This system takes the measurem ent principle of ultrasonic echo measurement of liquid level as the core detection method,by measuring the time-of-flight of ultrasonic in the pipeline and then converting it to the corresponding]iquid level value in the pipeline,so as to obtain the real cross-section area of fluid medium.Combined with the flow rate of fluid measured by the flowrate meter,the accurate flow is finally obtained-Firstly,the detection model of the whole system is designed and the physical field simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics was used to verify the system scheme and determine the system parameters.Secondly,the system implementation plan is planned,the control module of STM32 combined with FPGA and other hardware circuit modules is designed,this system also uses Multisim software to analyze the circuit function logic.Then the core control program is written and a set of software for upper computer detection system is developed,which includes software system management detection parameter configuration,real-time detection data monitoring and detection data visualization.Finally,the testing platform was set up in the laboratory,and the software and hardware were independently tested,and then the system was tested as a whole.By measuring the testing errors at different liquid levels and in the proportion of different sections in the tube,and comparing them with the measurement errors of the traditional flowmeter,conclusions were drawn and analyzedAfter testing,the system meets the requirements of relevant technical indicators,solves the problem of large error in the actual industrial detection of traditional flowmeter,further improves the flow detection efficiency.The whole measuring system is simple in operation,stable in operation,high in detection accuracy and wide in application,and meets the needs of the actual industrial pipeline detection of ultrasonic flowmeter.
