In recent years,the emergence of SUV has caused a new wave of demand for household automobiles,which makes domestic automotive companies devote most of their energy to the research and development of SUV models.However,due to the lack of basic research,domestic automotive enterprises fail to grasp the technical requirements of some core automotive parts.A domestic SUV automobile actuator bearing substitutes domestic brand for imported one.Many vehicle failures caused by the failure of actuator bearings have occurred in the actual use of vehicles,which has resulted in complaints from users.In this paper,the mechanical analysis and life extension technology of a certain type of SUV actuator bearing are studied,which provides a reference technical solution for the development and selection of SUV actuator bearing.Firstly,in order to obtain the reference results of mechanical properties and prolong the service life of SUV vehicle type distributor bearings,this paper adopts the static method for a certain SUV type distributor bearings.By means of computer simulation analysis software Romax Designer,By means of computer simulation analysis software Romax Designer,mechanical analysis including bearing force,load spectrum and contact stress was carried out for a certain type of SUV actuator bearing.The analysis results show that the life requirements of a certain type of SUV actuator bearing cannot fully meet the test conditions.Secondly,based on the mechanical analysis results of the bearing load spectrum of a certain SUV actuator,the optimum scheme of prolonging the service life of the bearing is studied from two aspects of the external installation parameters and internal design parameters of the bearing.That is to adjust the installation conditions of the bearings and optimize the contact angle and crown of the bearings to suit the operating conditions of the actuator.Through the simulation analysis,the life of the bearing of a SUV actuator has been prolonged after the design parameters have been improved.Finally,aiming at the problem that the effect of improving the design parameters is limited,the method of bearing surface strengthening,namely,the study of carbonitriding technology on rolling surface of bearings,is adopted.The 20-hour high-speed durability test of carbonitriding bearing are carried out to verify that the service life of a certain type of SUV distributor bearing has been improved more than three times after the application of raceway carbonitriding.Ultimately,the bearing meets the requirement of life completely.
