Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks(VANET)has been an advanced research field for years, and has been recognized to be reliable that can be used for the communication between vehicles. As VANET is continuously progressing,it will positively contribute to the intelligent transportation system in the future. In addition to the beneficial potentials, many challenges are in its technical progression. In VANET system, vehicles can exchange data with roadside unit(RSU)by communication. Not only, however, will it bring about increases in network cost, but will also magnify the possibilities of security problems as RSU is vulnerable to kinds of attacks. Also, when VANET is servicing,on board unit(OBU)is usually in poor computing performance, which cannot meet the computing performance requirements for intensive resources. This study, under the problematic circumstances, utilizes the UAV-assisted VANET systematic structure based on moving edge computing(MEC),applies UAV,instead of the RSU,as the over road unit(RAU);meanwhile, the joint optimization framework of vehicle transmission power and UAV trajectory as the total utility maximization problem to be solved and transforms it into the dynamic resource allocation problem of energy perception,so as to make it truly solved.Through considering non-cooperation and cooperation between vehicles, the optimal dynamic resource allocation of vehicles with fixed UAV trajectory is obtained by using dynamic programming method. In addition, based on the distance between the ground and the UAV and the optimal unloading data size of the vehicle, when the resource power is fixed,a UAV trajectory optimization algorithm is proposed and the effectiveness of this framework is verified in the simulation results comparing to other benchmark schemes.Traffic management is one of the principal problems that modern cities are facing nowadays. However, applying VANET traffic management based on RSU is a solution limited by the method of vehicle tracking and rating.Hence this paper uses multiple UAVs to form a flying Ad Hoc network(FANET)instead of RSU,and forms a cooperative network with VANET.Under this cooperative network, vehicle tracking and rating methods are proposed to effectively guarantee traffic management. It is shown in simulation results that the proposed collaborative network can effectively track ground vehicles and provide a low-complexity solution for their rating.Through rating, the problem vehicles can be effectively identified, and simultaneously,as well as the surrounding vehicles, can get pre-alerted and warned. In addition, with the increasing number of UAVs,the proposed method has better reliability and longer connectivity.
