With the development of space technology,human space activities are becoming more frequent.But it also caused a lot of space debris.Including failure satellites,rocket upper stage and spacecraft mission dump,space debris trapped satellite orbit making the problem of space resource shortage increasingly prominent.They also threaten the safety of on orbit satellites.ADR(Active Debris Removal)technology has become one of the hot topics in the field of aerospace research.Influenced by various factors,spatial uncontrolled targets often have large angular velocity tumbling motion.The rotation speed must be reduced to acceptable range by means of technology before ADR operation.Eddy current detumbling method has the advantages of no consumption of fuel,long working life,applicability for any high speed target,and simplicity to control.Target rotation is not repeated when damp the tumbling speed using eddy current.With the maturity of high temperature superconducting technology,eddy current detumbing method has a wider application prospects.Concentrating on electromagnetic eddy current detumbling for spinning space non cooperative targets,this paper mainly performed research on modeling and simulation of damping spinning space targets using eddy current.Model the process of eddy current detumbling,analysis the eddy current force,torque and their mechanism of production,give the mechanical property analysis of eddy current detumbling method.Firstly,according to the basic requirements of electromagnetic eddy current detumbling,simplify the detumbling model.Establish the target and magnet model,calculate the eddy current and torque on the spherical shell,give the formula for the eddy current torque.Secondly,based on finite element software,simulate the eddy current torque.Design the coil to generate uniform magnetic field.Compare the result with the theoretical calculation results to prove the feasibility of simulation.Then,the analysis of complex structure targets is carried out.Establish the finite element simulation model of typical satellite.Analysis of eddy current detumbling characteristics of failed satellites.Then,analysis the force characteristics of eddy current detumbling.Give the force formula of spherical shell rotating in magnetic field.Analysis the eddy current detumbling characteristics under the influence of magnetic field superposition.Finally,concentrating on the complex motion state of space debris,under the uniform magnetic field assumption,analysis the motion characteristics of spherical shell in magnetic.Analysis the relationship between the motion state and the inertia matrix and applied magnetic field direction.In conclusion,this paper systematically investigates the problem of modeling and simulation of damping spinning space targets by electromagnetic eddy currents,analysis the mechanism of eddy current detumbling.Provide reference for the ground experiment device and Task design.
