In the process of engineering construction,project cost management is one of the important control objectives to achieve the economic and social benefits of the project.For the construction of modern large-scale engineering projects,the requirements of cost control objectives are coordinated with information technology.BIM technology is an important new technology applied in the field of engineering construction at home and abroad in recent years.It has comprehensively changed the traditional project management mode through information management,and provided help for the management of project schedule,quality,cost,contract,safety and other aspects.For the management of the whole project,BIM technology has been successfully applied in the stages of design,bidding,construction and completion,realizing the integrated management of project data information and site.As for project cost management,BIM technology realizes the management and control of project cost at all stages on the basis of combining progress management,which provides a guarantee for the cost management,control,optimization and rectification in the construction process of engineering projects.In project entity projects,how to achieve project cost management through BIM technology,reduce resource waste,and provide support for project value-added,has gradually become one of the hot research topics of project management in recent years.This research focuses on the cost control of BIM technology in the process of actual engineering projects,and comprehensively discusses the key technologies and application effects of BIM technology.This paper firstly analyzes the research background at home and abroad by reading a large number of domestic and foreign data,materials and literatures,summarizes the application results of BIM technology in cost management,and points out the areas to be improved in engineering project management,such as practical engineering application and tracking research.Subsequently,this paper mainly discusses the connotation of BIM technology,the theory of engineering cost management,the mechanism of cost management,the basic theory of earned value and other contents from the theoretical perspective.After that,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the project cost management under the traditional management mode,and analyzes how to effectively solve these problems and improve the cost management performance afterthe application of BIM technology.Finally,this paper combined with GLD in different stages of the project cases the application of BIM technology,this paper discusses the BIM technology in the practical case of modeling,implementation process simulation,schedule cost simulation and assessment of the project schedule and cost plan optimization and correction of application,and through the BIM technology application effect analysis and comparison of traditional cost management analysis,validated the reliability of the application of BIM technology in cost management.The application of BIM Technology in the cost management of construction projects realizes the optimal allocation of project resources and the comprehensive cost control of projects,which is the inevitable trend of the development of construction projects at home and abroad in the future.It plays an important role in the collaborative control and correction of project cost and progress,and provides convenience for the realization of the three major objectives of auxiliary projects and project technology management.Based on the actual engineering cases and the application process analysis of related software,this paper introduces how to realize the transformation and integration between BIM data models.In addition,based on the application of BIM cost management theory and 5D technology in this paper,we hope to provide reference for the application and promotion of BIM Technology Cost Management in a large number of engineering construction projects in the future.
