Most cities in China today are evolved from the development of historical cities.Their construction characteristics, spatial patterns and the evolution of structural forms are all formed under the guidance of urban planning ideas and methods led by traditional Chinese culture..Taking the natural landscape and key humanistic elements as nodes, the spatial pattern of the integrated natural landscape environment formed by constructing the internal relationship between the elements is the core to constitute the “gene” and root of the historical urban space.Based on this, the city develops and evolves to form the spatial characteristics of historical cities. The contemporary rapid urbanization process has caused the rapid expansion of urban scale and space, resulting in huge changes in the urban spatial pattern. The emergence of the urban historical and cultural spatial pattern system and the "historical features" of urban space has been buried and forgotten, which has led to the problem of the lack of urban spatial characteristics. At the same time, the current focus on functional zoning and spatial structure in the preparation of urban planning, lack of in-depth mining and research on urban history and spatial development and evolution mechanisms and laws, lack of grasp of the urban spatial root causes the current urban spatial pattern and The spatial history has no relation. In addition, the research on the protection of historical cities mainly focuses on the famous historical and cultural cities(towns, villages),traditional villages and other cities with "hats" in China. However, there is not enough attention and research on the numerous historical cities with rich traditional planning wisdom. These historical cities have formed rich experience and wisdom in dealing with the relationship between urban space and nature, and constructing a spatial pattern that integrates natural landscape environment. At present,it is not enough to mine and summarize the planning wisdom and experience of such cities. In view of the above problems, this study believes that it is necessary to strengthen the study of the characteristics of the historical and cultural spatial pattern of typical historical cities in different regions, restore the buried historical and cultural spatial pattern system of the city, and thus summarize the experience and wisdom of traditional urban planning to protect and inherit the historical and cultural spatial pattern. To create support and conditions for creating urban characteristics.Based on the above research goals and existing problems, the paper selects Jinpan City,a typical historical city in the Guanzhong area,as the main research method, combining theoretical and literature analysis with field research to analyze the characteristics of urban spatial patterns from a multi-level and multi-scale perspective.Planning experience and method with the main feature of constructing the historical and cultural spatial pattern integrating natural landscape environment. The main research contents and conclusions are:First, from a regional perspective, analyze and study the relationship between the natural environment, topography, landscape features and the spatial distribution of historical cities in the Guanzhong area.Summarized 10 types of historical cities in Guanzhong area.Based on this, the type of Jinpancheng in the region and the typicality of spatial lattice characteristics are determined.Based on this,by analyzing the historical evolution of Jinpan City,it summarizes the characteristics of Jinpan City in different historical stages, and sorts out and summarizes the elements that constitute the historical and cultural spatial pattern in different stages. The study believes that the spatial layout and configuration of various elements in Jinpan City during the Ming and Qing Dynasties is the most complete stage in history, and should be the most important basis for the study of the spatial pattern. On this basis, the thesis is based on the internal mechanism and characteristics of the construction of the historical and cultural spatial pattern of Yongshou Jinpancheng 's natural landscape from the three levels of macro-scale natural landscape,mid-level urban and rural areas, and micro-city key space. And in-depth analysis and interpretation.A sample database of maps and tables of the historical and cultural spatial pattern and element information of Jinpan City has been established. In terms of protection and inheritance,it combines the existing problems of Jinpan City and the status of historical remains. From the aspects of the construction of the overall regional pattern, the continuation of the spatial sequence of the ancient city, the restoration and inheritance of cultural heritage, etc.,the strategy of how to protect and inherit the historical spatial pattern and historical context in modern cities is discussed. The results of this research can provide a foundation and support for the theory of Chinese local city planning, and provide a reference for the development of contemporary urban characteristics.
