Research On Wind Loads On Flexible Solar Photovoltaic Support System

The problem of energy shortage and environmental degradation is becoming more and more serious.As a kind of renewable energy,solar energy has attracted much attention.Flexible support solar photovoltaic is an important part of distributed energy,the characteristics of large span,large flexibility and light weight determine that the wind load is the main load of support design.In order to provide suggestions for wind resistant design of flexible solar photovoltaic support,the influencing parameters,such as wind direction,inclination,spacing ratio and position,on the wind load of the photovoltaic module are studied through the wind tunnel tests on rigid models.The wind load distribution model of photovoltaic module and the wind load distribution of flexible support cable are studied through the wind load distribution law of module surface,the influence of three loading models on the axial force of cable end is analyzed,the results show that:(1)The maximum wind direction angle of the shape coefficient of the flexible support photovoltaic module usually occurs near 150° or 180°.The wind load increases linearly with the increase of inclination angle,and the sensitivity of structure wind load to inclination angle is greater than other parameters.The variation of wind load with spacing ratios is influenced by the inclination,the wind load of PV modules with small inclination decreases with the increasing of spacing ratio,while that of PV modules with large inclination increases with the increasing of spacing ratio.The limited flow around both sides results in the acceleration of the top and bottom turbulence,which results in the large wind load of photovoltaic modules in the middle area.In the wind load estimation of the small angle flexible support photovoltaic support,the wind load standard value estimation formula considering the angle coefficient and position coefficient correction proposed in this paper is recommended.(2)Uniform wind load distribution model,stepped wind load distribution model,trapezoid wind load distribution model and eccentric wind load distribution model can be used to determine the wind load shape coefficient of flexible support photovoltaic modules,four kinds of wind load distribution model shape coefficient and upper and lower support cable wind load distribution coefficient are proposed.In the wind resistant design of flexible solar photovoltaic support,the wind load shape coefficient and wind load distribution coefficient of upper and lower support cables provided in this paper are recommended for estimation.(3)The wind load model will affect the axial force of the supporting cable,and the cable axial force caused by the concentrated load is greater than the other two models.In the wind resistant design of flexible solar photovoltaic support structure,it is recommended to apply the wind load on the photovoltaic panel to the flexible cable with concentrated force.
