Self-lubricating spherical plain bearings play an important role in cutting-edge scientific and technological fields such as aerospace,engineering machinery,and defense and military industries.Their performance and service life depend on self-lubricating liner.The testing machine is an important testing equipment to evaluate the performance and life of the self-lubricating liner.However,during the testing process of the testing machine,there are many error factors affecting the accuracy of the online detection of wear,which seriously interferes with the performance and life evaluation of the self-lubricating liner and restricts development of related industries.To solve this problem,this paper applies error compensation technology to reduce the influence of error factors on the online detection of wear,improve the testing accuracy of the testing machine,and enhance the reliability of the test data.The main research contents are as follows:Taking the self-lubricating liner testing machine made by the laboratory as the research object,through analyzing the working principle of the testing machine and the online detection principle of wear,three main errors affecting the online detection accuracy of the wear were found: load error,thermal error and sensor error.By analyzing the error characteristics,an error compensation scheme suitable for the self-lubricating liner testing machine was formulated,and the errors were studied from the perspective of simulation and test.Using ANSYS Workbench simulation platform,a model of wear detection system was established,and the load error and thermal errors(friction thermal error,environmental thermal error)were simulated and analyzed.The simulation results prove that the load error and frictional thermal error have a greater impact on the online detection accuracy of the wear,while the environmental thermal error has a smaller impact and can be ignored.By calibrating the sensors of the testing machine,the influence of the measurement error on the on-line detection accuracy of the wear is eliminated,and the influence of the environmental temperature on the temperature drift of the displacement sensor is also obtained.Based on the working principle of the testing machine,a test scheme for the detection of load error and frictional thermal error was designed.The test results verified that the simulation model of the wear detection system was correct.Based on the error test results,a load error model,a frictional thermal error model,and temperature drift error model of the displacement sensor with higher fitting accuracy were established.According to the mechanism of error influence,an error compensation formula for on-line detection of wear was established,and an error compensation testing system(embedded in the measurement and control system of the testing machine)with ease of use and versatility was designed.The friction and wear test of the self-lubricating liner verified the effectiveness of the error compensation testing system.According to the test results,the error compensation formula was revised,and the accuracy of on-line detection of wear was further improved.
