With the development of economy,people's living needs continue to increase,and logistics and transportation play a vital role in society.With the construction and penetration of roads,cargo transportation is more convenient,and the development of panel van vehicles is extremely rapid,but there are also many structural problems that need to be optimized.The shape of the truck determines that the body of the truck will be affected by strong airflow during driving,which will generate large driving resistance and lateral force,which will affect the fuel consumption and driving safety performance of the vehicle.This article is based on the panel van developed by the school-enterprise cooperation unit.Combined with the production design requirements,this paper studies the forward resistance and lateral wind force experienced by the vehicle body in a crosswind environment.Reduce vehicle's wind resistance coefficient and enhance operational stability.First,the aerodynamics-related problems of the vehicle when driving in the natural environment are introduced,and the directional force state of the vehicle body is analyzed to determine the main force factors that affect the vehicle's driving,providing a basis for subsequent research.A numerical simulation model was established based on the original body structure.Use numerical simulation software to simulate wind tunnel test on mathematical model and the vehicle body scale model was used for test verification.The simulation results were confirmed to be accurate and reliable.The factors of forward lateral forces were analyzed to determine the optimization direction of the car body structure.A multi-body dynamics model is established based on the body structure of panel van,and the dynamics simulation is performed with the data obtained from the previous numerical simulation.Performing lateral stability analysis at high speeds,the lateral stability of the vehicle model is analyzed at high speed.According to the previous research,the comprehensive optimization analysis of theresistance characteristics and lateral stability of the panel van is carried out.With the vehicle body structure size as the optimization parameter,the forward resistance and lateral offset values are defined as the optimization goals.Based on the approximate model in the Isight,the genetic algorithm is used for studying on multi-objective optimization.
