Water-lubricated rubber bearing is widely used in mechanical equipments due to its good lubrication performance.In order to study the lubrication characteristics of water-lubricated bearings,a thermal-fluid-structure coupling model for water-lubricated bearings is established based on the theory of layer deformation and thermoelastic lubrication in this thesis.The effects of different structures and different layer materials on the lubrication characteristics of water-lubricated bearings at different inlet temperatures are analyzed,the main contents are as follows:(1)The lubrication characteristics of bearings with different structures is analyzed at different water temperature,and the results show that the bearing layer deformation,water film pressure and carrying capacity are decreases with the increase of inlet water temperature;the bearing with mixed grooves structure can improve the lubrication performance of the bearings with the single groove structure at a certain extent,but the carrying capacity of the mixed grooves structure bearing decreases,and the friction and friction coefficient increases.(2)The new type of spaced groove structure bearing is designed based on the mixed grooves structure bearing.The results show that compared with the mixed grooves bearing,the new type of spaced groove bearing can maintain the integrity of the lubricating water film in the pressure area of bearing,enhance the water film pressure,flow field velocity and carrying capacity,and reduce the friction and friction coefficient.Additionally,after using the spiral groove structure for the bearing,the small deformation in the layer grooves disappears,and the small peak value of the water film pressure decreases;at the same time,the water flow velocity in the bearing grooves and the carrying capacity increases,while the friction and the friction coefficient increases.(3)The lubrication performance of the new bearing with spaced groove structure is analyzed by using three materials of nitrile rubber,Tenmat and ultra-high molecular polyethylene as bearing layer.The results show that the layer deformation,the water film pressure,the stress,friction and friction coefficient of the nitrile rubber bearing are all the largest,but the carrying capacity is the smallest;the layer deformation,water film pressure,carrying capacity and friction of Tenmat bearing and ultra-high molecular polyethylene bearing are similar,and the former is slightly larger than the latter,while the friction coefficient and stress distribution are slightly larger than the former.
