With the continuous development of heritage protection and urban construction in the new period,and the increasing popularity of cultural heritage tourism,people are paying more and more attention to how to coordinate the relationship between heritage protection and display utilization,and activate the heritage.Archaeological site park is a type of concern in many heritage protection modes.It is also an innovative approach explored in the field of heritage protection practice in China in recent years,with functions of protection,research,display,education,tourism,and leisure.However,at present,there are few relatively theoretical studies on the archaeological parks and the activation of heritage.In the new era,heritage protection has become a topic worthy of study.This article studies the concept of ruins landscapes and ruins parks,archaeological sites parks and their theoretical development process,types and protection and utilization models of archaeological sites parks,domestic and foreign research progress and related cases,etc.On this basis,this article expounds from the perspective of heritage activation,at the same time,this article also construct the SPTCPE model to conduct a preliminary exploration of the planning and design of the archaeological site park from the perspective of heritage activation.Also,the case study of Haihun Principality in Nanchang,Jiangxi Province was used as a practical case to exemplify theoretical research,explore how to protect and utilize the ruins in the form of a heritage park in the long term,and seek the balance between heritage protection and development in the new period,and then plan and design the heritage park.Through this article,the author carries out related practices,hoping to provide some positive opinions on the planning and design of archaeological parks and the practice of heritage activation.
