With the rapid development of national economy,people no longer simply pursue the problem of adequate food and clothing,but gradually strengthen their spiritual pursuit.In terms of bridge construction,higher requirements are put forward for the aesthetics of the bridge.The construction of a bridge even becomes a landmark building of a city,which promotes the continuous improvement of bridge crossing capacity and the gradual enrichment of bridge shapes.The continuous increase of bridge span is bound to cause the continuous decline of the ratio of width to span.This paper introduces the basic theory of arch bridge stability,the finite element analysis method of v-shaped arch bridge stability calculation and the nonlinear problem solving method.In view of the problem that the Midas/Civil beam element structure and truss element structure cannot be directly analyzed for material nonlinearity,which makes the stability analysis of the whole bridge structure cannot be directly considered for material nonlinearity.This paper USES Pushover analysis to indirectly analyze the stability of v-arch bridge in terms of material nonlinearity.Based on the example of hai LAN hu bridge project,Midas/Civil software is used to analyze the stability of linear elasticity and the stability of geometric nonlinearity and material nonlinearity.The results show that the stability coefficient in the case of geometric nonlinearity is not different from that in the case of elasticity,which indicates that the former has little influence on the stability of this type of bridge.The stability coefficient of the nonlinear material is much lower than that of the elastic condition,which indicates that it has a great influence on the stability of this type of bridge.This paper analyzes the influence of cable layout,single and combined transverse bracing,arch rib stiffness and initial defects on the elastic stability of bridge line.Finally,the stability of local steel plate of arch rib of bridge is studied and compared with the overall stability mentioned above.It provides a reference for bridge design.
