Research On The Space Regeneration Of University Campus Based On Micro-Facilities

The construction of university campuses in China reached its climax at the beginning of the 21st century,according to the statistics,in 2001,the built-up area of school buildings in Zhejiang Province reached the total of that of past 43 years since the founding of New China,the scale and speed of campus construction in this period can be seen clearly.This unconventional construction process met the demand of "quantity" brought about by the expansion of higher education at that time,but there are inevitably some shortcomings in shaping the "quality" of the campus environment,convergent planning and design patterns,monotonous campus atmosphere,which are the common problems in these campusesIt has been more than ten years since these new campuses were put into use,economic development?technological upgrading?the change of the way of life and education...The change of social environment has brought great impact to universities.The campus space,which as the carrier of people's life and learning,adaptive adjustment and transformation must be carried out,and in this process,space micro-updating based on micro-facilities plays a very important role.Unlike top-down master planning and design,this kind of spatial micro-update is often user-oriented,it is the embodiment of collective wisdom in the process of the adaptation of changing environment.And it is precisely these micro-level campus renewal process that make the campus space more reasonable and humanized in the process of using.Although the process of spatial micro-renewal on campus seems independent and random,the inherent logic behind the phenomena is often reasonable,the development of the times have left a deep mark in these processes.Through observation and analysis of the phenomenon of micro-renewal in campus,this paper attempts to study the common characteristics behind these different renewal phenomena and explore the possibility of feedback to campus space design in the new eraThe full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction which mainly expounds the research background and purpose of this paper;the second chapter is basic research,firstly,the history of university campus space evolution is briefly described,and then the main design features and existing problems of the three "fast-growing" higher education parks inHangzhou are investigated and analyzed;chapter ? summarized the micro-facilities in the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University,and analyzed the phenomenon and trend of spatial micro-renewal in the process of campus development;chapter ? is the deep analysis of the spatial micro-renewal phenomenon,which analyses the essence and motivation of the phenomenon from two aspects of theory and reality;on this basis,the fifth chapter puts forward the objectives and principles of campus space micro-renewal,and discusses the strategy of space creation in this process with the example of micro-facilities design.?...
