As a new type valve mechanism which replaces the traditional cam-driven valve mechanism, the engine variable valve electromagnetic actuator has flexible valve transformation performance.Low power consumption, soft landing and fast response are important performance of the engine to the variable valve electromagnetic actuators. This paper summarizes and analyzes the research status of electromagnetic actuators at home and abroad, summarizes the classification and structural characteristics of electromagnetic actuators.Aiming at low power consumption, soft landing and fast response,a structure based on double wing magnetic fluxes and a control strategy of zero power consumption maintenance driven by two-way voltage are proposed,a static and dynamic model is established, and the distribution of magnetic field lines is analyzed.Based on the static model, the effects of the main structural parameters and the degree of armature skewed and deflected on the static characteristics of the electromagnetic actuators were simulated.Based on the transient model, the effects of coil parameters and armature quality on the dynamic characteristics of electromagnetic actuators are simulated. The above analysis provides the design method and theoretical basis for the parameter determination of prototype prototype.Based on the static and dynamic test system, the bistable electromagnetic actuator was tested and studied. The results showed that the bistable performance and soft landing could be achieved by the double wing magnetic fluxes of the actuator, and the holding force at the end of the actuator was 8.2 N.In addition, the actuator also has a fast response speed. Its dynamic response time is 28 ms,touch time is 16.5 ms,motion time is 11.5 ms,trasition time is 9.1 ms,soft landing speed is 0.15m/s.This project provides an analytical method and experimental means for the innovative design of the actuator with variable valve electromagnetic drive.
