Nowadays,the industrial manipulator has been more and more widely used in every step of the manufacturing industry.The localization of the manipulator has also become an important development direction.As the joint reducer of the manipulator,RV Reducer has a decisive impact on the working performance of the manipulator.The in-depth study of RV is the key link of the localization of the manipulator.In the current research on RV,the volume of RV is rarely involved,the calculation of transmission efficiency is basically the same,and the research on high power density is ignored.The research of RV power density can provide guidance for effectively reducing volume and improving transmission efficiency.The lightweight and high efficiency research of RV has become an important research aspect.The research is based on the structure and movement of RV.In this paper,the design method of RV is explored to complete the overall design of RV.Then the 3D model of RV is built in 3D software.The geometric parameters that affect the volume and efficiency of RV Reducer and their changing rules are analyzed in this paper.The volume modeling of RV Reducer is completed by dividing circle method and average circle method.And the efficiency modeling of RV transmission is completed by power flow method and virtual power theory.The test requirements and test methods for RV reducers are understood.The type of RV Reducer comprehensive test bench is selected based on its own test conditions,and the construction of comprehensive test bench is completed.A series of comprehensive performance tests of RV Reducer are implemented on this test-bed.The transmission efficiency test results are compared with the previous paper,which verifies the availability of the transmission efficiency formula obtained by combining the power flow method with the virtual power theory.At the same time,the test results of other tests are analyzed and discussed.Based on the previous RV volume modeling and transmission efficiency modeling,the mathematical model of high power density optimization is obtained.The genetic algorithm inMATLAB software is used to optimize RV and complete the research of high power density RV Reducer.
