It has become a new trend of global development to replace traditional human work with industrial robots,and China is also developing in the direction of automatic artificial intelligence.With the development of industrial robots in recent years,China has become the largest industrial robot market,but the development of robot technology is slightly backward compared with foreign countries.With the rapid development of the industry,robots can make the transformation of labor-intensive enterprises more meaningful.In this paper,a 3kW servo permanent magnet synchronous motor is designed,and the temperature field of the motor is simulated.Because the general temperature field simulation is the simulation of the motor body,the influence of the external structure of the motor on the temperature field of the motor is not considered.In this paper,the influence of the reducer on the temperature of the motor is considered.In the light weight design of the motor,a new idea of improving the power density of the motor is proposed ?Firstly,the structure and operation principle of servo motor for industrial robot are analyzed,and the reasonable size is designed according to the requirements of the manufacturer,then the rationality of motor design is verified by simulation.The parameters of the motor are calculated by simulation software.Then according to the heat conduction theory,the electromagnetic field calculation value is introduced into the temperature field calculation method to calculate the three-dimensional temperature field of the motor,and the model of the motor and the reducer is simplified to make the simulation results clearer.Using professional software for three-dimensional modeling,first simulate the temperature of motor body,then simulate the overall temperature of motor and reducer,and compare the two temperature fields.Finally,the length of the motor shaft is shortened to improve the power density of the motor,and then the motor and the reducer are connected to simulate the temperature field,and the temperature is adjusted to the place similar to the simulation temperature of the motor body.Lighten the motor.The research results show that the external structure of the reducer,because of its direct contact with the motor,expands the heat dissipation area and volume of the motor,has the heat dissipation effect on the motor,and can be used as a natural heat dissipation part of the motor.In this way,through the lightweight design of the motor,improve the thermal load of the motor,improve the power density of the motor under the premise of ensuring the similar temperature of the motor,save the cost and further lighten the motor,and ensure the reliability of operation.The feasibility of this method is verified by simulation,and there are some research directions for related motors.
