As an important closing device,low-voltage electrical appliances are widely used in distributed energy storage,ship propulsion,high-speed rail and electric vehicles,and are developing toward higher voltage levels.Low-voltage electrical contacts will produce high-temperature arcs during the closing and opening process.The energy is huge.The arc will have a strong ablative effect on the contacts and the space of the arc extinguishing chamber,which seriously reduces the life of the switching appliances.Therefore,the arc combustion mechanism is explored to obtain The influence of arc energy distribution on the performance of switching appliances is very important.Although the mathematical evolution model can be used to analyze the arc evolution law without restrictions,simulation research is often based on a large number of assumptions,which deviates from the objectivity of experimental research.With the advancement of computer and sensor technology,visualization research is more and more widely used in the industrial field,especially for arc plasma research in high energy fields.Really obtain the energy distribution information of the body to be measured without directly contacting the body to be measured.In this paper,an efficient arc experimental research platform is established to analyze the evolution law of arc energy and form during the breaking process.The specific work is as follows:Combining with embedded hardware and software,this paper designs an experimental prototype as an arc generating device with adjustable breaking speed.In order to avoid a single voltage and current monitoring method that is difficult to characterize the complex energy evolution process of the arc,this paper builds a switch arc information detection system that integrates the collection of electrical parameters and image information to measure the current and voltage in the contact gap.Complete the accurate collection of arc image information and realize the visualization of arc energy distribution.Set up a pre-processing flow for collecting information,filter and equalize arc parameters and image information,enhance image contrast and remove interference.According to the spectroscopic properties of the color CCD,a colorimetric temperature measurement formula with constants to be calibrated is deduced,which provides a basis for the analysis of the evolution trend of the switching arc energy.A color cloud image of the energy distribution is obtained through a pseudo-color mark,and the energy distribution law is analyzed.Use the edge detection algorithm in matlab image processing technology to determine the outer boundary of the arc,apply binarization to simplify the operation of the arc shape,and combine the morphological calculation principle to monitor the area and circumference of the arc in the gap during the diffusion process.It makes the two-dimensional energy and morphological distribution characteristics of the arc in the horizontal projection direction during the switching process of the switching appliance visualized.The idea of centroid calculation is put forward,the arc motion in the two-dimensional plane is recorded,and the arc motion trajectory is fitted.The arc energy and morphological characteristics are compared at different breaking speeds of the contacts,and the influence of the breaking speed on the arc combustion is analyzed.The research work in this paper can provide a certain reference for the visual research of low-voltage DC electrical arc.
