Design Research On Improving User Experience Of Six Degrees Of Freedom Dynamic Theater

Six-degree-of-freedom dynamic theater refers to a dynamic theater that uses a six-degree-of-freedom dynamic seat as a viewer carrier.It can simulate the movements of lifting,pitching,swinging,front,back,left and right,and steering according to the content of the film,thus serving as a viewer.Provides a stronger sense of immersion,but it also causes discomfort such as dizziness and nausea when some users watch it.The survey found that the current research on the six-degree-of-freedom dynamic cinema in the academic world is basically biased towards the research on the technical level of the dynamic seat,and less on the exploration of the user experience level.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the six-degree-of-freedom dynamic theater user experience.This paper firstly learns through literature search that viewing comfort is an important factor affecting the user experience of six-degree-of-freedom dynamic cinema.Secondly,in the laboratory environment,the observation and comfort test was conducted.Through questionnaires and user interviews,it was found that there was a strong correlation between motion sickness and viewing comfort:users with motion sickness were more likely to have glare.Then,using the motion sickness therapy method,a control experiment using placebo therapy was designed.The experimental results show that the psychological comfort method can effectively alleviate the vertigo.Finally,based on the experimental research results,this paper optimizes the service process of the six-degree-of-freedom dynamic cinema,and uses the new contacts and optimized contact measures to propose a user grading service mode,which provides a placebo service for users with motion sickness while redesigning.The spatial layout of the dynamic theater allows the user to maintain a pleasant mood before watching the movie,thereby enhancing the overall experience of the user.In accordance with the development of the times,this paper deeply discusses the user experience of the six-degree-of-freedom dynamic cinema,and uses the service design concept to explore the preliminary plan to enhance the user’s viewing experience,and provide reference and reference value for the user experience research in this field.
