As the wealth of country and resident has increased,the number of urban motor vehicles has increased sharply,so that urban traffic has become more congested,and citizens’ travel efficiency has become increasingly inefficient.Aiming at the problem of low traffic efficiency and long queue time in urban areas,this paper proposes a traffic light intelligent control algorithm based on width-first search combined with traffic flow prediction algorithm.This algorithm can effectively shorten the queue length of intersections and improve travel efficiency.The proposed algorithm can reduce about 52.3%of the time when compared to the traditional algorithm.The main work of this paper is as follows:This paper provides a single intersection adaptive control algorithm based on traffic flow prediction to realize traffic lights.Through the historical traffic data,this method can predict the traffic information data.The algorithm interns with such a function:the greater the number of intersection vehicles,the longer the intersections.The width-first search algorithm is used to achieve the optimal opening sequence of the intersection phase.This paper proposes a control algorithm based on linkage adjustment of multiple intersections on the main road.In this paper,the traffic light cycle of the current intersection is changed by analyzing the number of vehicles at the intersection.;this method utilizes the control of a single traffic light and the short-term prediction method of traffic flow to realize the coordinated control of the adjacent intersection on the main road.This paper gives a regional road network traffic light coordination control algorithm based on traffic flow partitioning.This algorithm establishes the local regional road network traffic flow information model,and then selects whether to divide the flow through the actual traffic flow situation in the traffic control local road and realizes the coordinated control of the traffic light phase coordination for the traffic flow in the low peak period.This paper investigates a coordinated control method for regional traffic light phase.Finally,the simulation of the adaptive algorithm of a single traffic light and the main road traffic light,as well as the vehicle shunting ability of the local area are simulated,which verifies the high efficiency of the designed algorithms to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce vehicle delay.
